Shockwave Therapy in Woodbridge

Shockwave therapy uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate healing in tendons and soft tissue that haven't responded to other treatment. It's non-invasive, takes only a few minutes per session, and is used alongside your regular physiotherapy plan.

    What it's commonly used for

    • Plantar fasciitis and persistent heel pain
    • Tennis elbow and golfer's elbow
    • Achilles tendinopathy
    • Calcific tendinopathy in the shoulder
    • Other tendon pain that has lasted months

    What to expect

The treatment head is applied to the affected area and delivers rapid pulses — most people describe it as a firm tapping. Treatment itself takes only a few minutes, some tenderness afterward is normal, and it's typically delivered as a short course rather than a single session.

Shockwave is done within your regular appointment at no additional charge — there's no separate booking type, and no extra fee.

    Who it's for

People with tendon pain that has persisted for months and hasn't improved with rest, activity change, or exercise alone. Your assessment determines whether it's appropriate for your case.
