Therapeutic Manual Therapy in Woodbridge
Hands-on treatment used to ease pain, release tight tissue, and get stiff joints moving again. It's part of a physiotherapy plan rather than a standalone appointment — the hands-on work opens up movement, and the exercise work makes it last.
What we treat
- Muscle tension and tightness that keeps returning
- Stiff, restricted joints
- Soft tissue injuries — strains, sprains, scar tissue
- Tension headaches
- Pain patterns linked to stress and posture
What the techniques actually are
- Joint mobilization — gentle, controlled movement of a stiff joint to restore its normal range.
- Soft tissue release — sustained pressure on tight or restricted muscle and fascia.
Manual therapy at StrengthFlow is provided by a Registered Physiotherapist as part of your physiotherapy care, and it is billed as physiotherapy.
What your session looks like
Sessions are one-on-one. Johnny selects techniques based on what your assessment shows rather than working through a set routine, and explains what he's doing and why as he goes.
Most patients leave with one or two things to do at home to hold the change between visits.
