Acupuncture & Dry Needling in Woodbridge

Dry needling and acupuncture use very fine needles to release tight muscle and calm persistent pain. Johnny is trained to perform both, and they're used as one part of a physiotherapy plan rather than as a standalone treatment.

    The difference between the two

Dry needling targets trigger points in muscle using a Western anatomical framework. Acupuncture follows traditional points and meridians. Same tool, different reasoning — Johnny will explain which approach he's using for your case and why.

    What it's commonly used for

    • Persistent muscle tightness and trigger points
    • Tension headaches
    • Pain that hasn't responded to hands-on treatment alone
    • Muscle guarding that's limiting your range of motion

    What to expect

The needles are far finer than the ones used for injections. Most people feel a brief twitch or a dull ache rather than sharp pain.

Needling is done within your regular appointment at no additional charge — there's no separate booking type to look for, and no extra fee.
